Roosevelt Library Construction Update

by | May 4, 2022 | News | 0 comments

Construction has started again on the new Roosevelt Library. Duchesne County Library Director Daniel Mauchley shares that the work picked back up after the arrival of the roof trusses. “Much of the framing, HVAC ductwork, electrical duct work, roof drains, and parking lot curbing have been completed,” explains Mauchley. “We are hoping to receive our metal roofing for the main library room around Memorial Day. The parking lot was paved but a portion needs to be repaved as it did not meet specifications. That should be corrected in the next few weeks.” Financial contributions continue to be accepted in order to purchase furniture, furnishings, and equipment for when the new library is complete. Any size of donation is welcome and so appreciated. Donations over $500 dollars will be included on a donor wall to be displayed in the new library lobby for 10 years. Donations can be made at the Roosevelt Branch or at the Duchesne County Offices.
