The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources has programs to keep Utah waterbodies stocked with fish and springtime is the prime time to do it. While thousands of fish are being stocked around the state, there is only one on the DWR’s list completed in northeastern Utah so far in 2022. According to the latest data from the DWR, in February, there were 288,161 kokanee salmon under 2 inches long stocked in Flaming Gorge Reservoir. In March, there were 35,848 rainbow trout around 7 inches long stocked in Flaming Gorge. To see where fish are being stocked, visit https://dwrapps.utah.gov/
