It’s time again for a unique annual favorite night out for many local families. The Vernal Utah Storytelling Festival was created by a group of dedicated volunteers in 2003 with the goal of bringing world-renowned talent to the Uintah Basin. This year’s festival will feature the talents of Adam Booth and Corinne Stavish. Booth has been featured with the International Storytelling Center and the National Storytelling Festival as well as many others. Stavish has degrees in Theatre, Literature, and Performing Arts and uses them to great advantage in her storytelling delivery. This year’s event is being held today and tomorrow, March 25th and 26th. Each evening the storytelling performances start at 7pm at the Vernal Middle School Auditorium and there will be a free workshop on Saturday from 10 to 2.
