The Uintah County Library continues to serve Uintah County as a robust community center and the data from 2021 proves it. Last year, the library was visited 97,164 times and there were physical checkouts of over 274,000. The library collection has 409,000 items that can be checked out and 300,000 items available through the library’s Apps. There are 10,082 active card holders, meaning those that have used their card in person in the last year. The library has had 714 volunteers who gave just under 2000 hours of service. Public computers were used 11,638 times. In 2021, the library focused on events and activities, offering 296 activities such as story times, craft times, and LEGO club. Child attendance was recorded at 5,343 and total library event attendance reached 19,575.
