The presentation at the Vernal Chamber Luncheon this week is worth the attention of all teens, young adults, and their parents and mentors. YouScience is a program that helps individuals understand what skills and abilities they possess and as a result the best path into future success. It is available to public schools in Utah through state funding as well to employers in their search for personnel with certain skills. State director for YouScience, Kelli Openshaw, explained at the Chamber luncheon that YouScience makes it easier for students to identify skills and have confidence as they think about the future in terms of their talents, including students with special needs. “We’ve revolutionized the way students, educators, and employers view talent and possibility,” shared Openshaw. “We instill hope, purpose, and direction by connecting natural talent, skills, and knowledge with in-demand education pathways and careers. Join us to help find the makers, doers, artists, and thinkers who will help solve the problems of tomorrow.” For more information, visit www.youscience.com.
