TriCounty Health Department invests in promoting health in the community, especially with youth programs that are making a difference. During a radio interview on Eagle Country KLCY, health promotion director Sage McMickell gave an update on what the youth programs have been up to. The Students Working Against Tobacco or SWAT program had a lot of fun with their booth at the Xtreme Bull Madness event this month, during which they were able to sign up 10 students for next year’s program. McMickell also shared that the Teen Outreach Program will start up again in September but youth from both programs will be attending an upcoming leadership training at Bryce Canyon along with Northeastern Counseling. Anyone interested in learning more about the youth or other programs can call TriCounty Health, follow the Facebook page, or visit www.tricountyhealth.com
