An amazing group of professionals practiced and learned new skills over the weekend, all for the sake of safety and saving lives. The Duchesne County Regional Fire School was held Friday and Saturday, providing an opportunity for local firefighters to take classes. The Firefighter Safety and Survival/Rapid Intervention Team course was held on Friday. Things heated up quite literally on Saturday morning with the Live Fire course focused on fire behavior and flashover. Saturday afternoon’s course was the RT-130 Wildland Refresher. It was a productive day of training for all involved. The Duchesne County Regional Fire School is sponsored by the Utah Fire and Rescue Academy and Duchesne County Emergency Management.
