4th of July Weekend Celebrations in Uintah County

The Uintah Basin will be letting freedom ring through several different 4th of July celebrations and activities. The Field of Flags will be at Freestone Walking Park in Vernal until Monday July 5th. Friday July 2nd will see an Independence Day Block Party on Main Street in Vernal with music by Little Texas from 7pm to 10pm. Tickets are just $10 dollars. The Dinosaurland Freedom Fest will be on Saturday July 3rd in Vernal with a Firecracker 5k at 7am starting at UBTech and ending at the Field of Flags. 10am will be the parade with a F35 flyover. Over at Ashley Valley Community Park there will be bounce houses, vendors, food trucks, water games, a cornhole tournament, volleyball tournament, and beer garden from 10am until dark. At 6pm there will be live entertainment at the park with the fireworks starting at 10pm. In Lapoint anyone can line up for the parade at 5:30pm just north of the Lapoint store on Saturday. Endangered Species will be the live band, with food trucks and fireworks starting at dusk. On Sunday there will be a special flag ceremony at 6pm at the Ashley Valley Community Park Colton Pavilion across the street from the Field of Flags.
