Duchesne County is ready to celebrate freedom this Fourth of July weekend. In Duchesne City activities will be on Saturday, July 3rd. From 7am to 10am at Wallace Park there will be Lion’s Club Breakfast. The parade will be on Main Street starting at 10:30am. A Patriotic Program will take place at 11:30am at Roy Park followed by activities from 12pm to 3pm. From 1pm to 3pm there will be a free swim at the Duchesne City Pool. Roy Park will see most of the activities with a Talent Show at 5pm, a free concert featuring Channel Z at 7pm and fireworks at 10pm. Roosevelt City will be celebrating on Saturday, July 3rd at Constitution Park. Things kick off with the Redmud Run. Registration is at 9am with the race starting at 11am. There will be a concert with Peter Breinholt headlining at 7pm and fireworks taking place after dark. Neola will start their celebration on Friday with a 5k run and ½ marathon at 7am. There is a free 1k kids fun run at 7:30am with line up at 7:20am. A volleyball tournament will be held on Saturday. The bulk of the celebration will be on Monday, July 5th. There will be a Grab-N-Growl breakfast from 8 to 9:30am then a parade at 10am and rodeo slack at 2pm. There is a Grab-NGrowl Dutch Oven that starts at 5pm and goes until gone with a patriotic program at 5:30pm at Neola Community Park. The rodeo will be at 7pm and is $8 for adults, $5 kids, or $20 per car.
