It was an exciting night at a favorite local competition held at the Uintah Conference Center on Thursday evening. Uintah County Economic Development and the Vernal Innovation Hub once again hosted the 2026 Business Speed Pitch competition. “The 6th annual competition took place on March 19th at the Uintah Conference Center,” shares the announcement. “Clayton Adams’ new mobile RV repair service, called On The Run RV and Trailer Repair, won the first place prize. The 2nd place winner, Jaxon Owens, won for his solar-powered air compressor and trace pump manufacturing operation, Rafter J Solar. Tara Burman’s new Pilates studio, Tara’s Pilates, won the 3rd place prize for providing a unique exercise and training opportunity for Basin residents.” Jake Marillion’s business, Queen Marillion, won People’s Choice.
