The 2022 Declared Candidates list on uintahelections.utah.gov reports that 2022 election candidates in Uintah County are Steve Labrum for Sheriff, Michael Wilkins for Clerk-Auditor, and Jaymon Thomas as Attorney. Bart Haslem and John Laursen are running on the Republican ticket for Commission Seat A while Kevin Van Tassell is running Unaffiliated for Commission Seat A. Ben Justice, Willis LeFevre, Sonja Norton, Bud Allen, and Wayne Simper are running on the Republican ticket for Commission Seat B against Democrat candidate Steven Huber. For both Commission races, the Primary election will determine which Republican candidate will be on the November ballot to oppose the Democrat or Unaffiliated opponent. Since our last report, Kevin Nading has dropped out of the Commission Seat A race and Darryl Andersen has dropped out of the Commission Seat B race.
