The Monarch Butterfly tagging event held over the weekend at Dinosaur National Monument hosted 66 community members in a delicate and important process. Antonio, the Science Communication and Resource Monitoring Intern at Dinosaur, shared that it was an amazing experience seeing children and adults getting excited about monarchs as he taught them the process of tagging and data collection.

First COVID-19 Related Death Reported For Daggett County

TriCounty Health Department issued a press release on Monday announcing the first COVID-19 related death in Daggett County. The patient is a male, between 65 and 85 years old. He was hospitalized prior to his death. Preliminary data suggests he had not been vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to contracting the virus.
