2021 Uintah Basin Domestic Violence Conference

Part of the unseen effects of the stay at home order of COVID-19 was an  increase  of domestic violence of just over 8%. Just in time to help is the annual 2021 Uintah Basin Domestic Violence Conference. This year’s theme of “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” will focus on the importance of working together to recognize the risks and dangers of domestic violence. This free event goes from 8:30am to 5:30pm with the opening keynote about building a Safer Tomorrow Roadmap, breakout sessions throughout the day and a final address entitled In Her Shoes Wrap Up. The event will be Thursday October 7th at the Uintah Conference Center with registration from 8am to 8:30am.
