Altercation in Uintah County Results in Death
An altercation between two men resulted in death on Friday afternoon in Uintah County. According to the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are investigating the altercation that took place at a residence near Pelican Lake just after 1:00pm.

The new Dino “Soar” customer service award recipient is a well-known friendly face at the Vernal McDonald’s. A lesser known detail is that the service will actually be United flights operated by SkyWest. Additional Charges in Family Poaching Cases
A family member of the former Utah couple found Guilty of poaching is also facing poaching charges. William and Jennifer Thompson will both pay restitution and serve time in Uintah County Jail, in 2-day increments, after being sentenced in March on multiple instances of poaching elk and deer.

Uintah Theatre’s Hunchback and Music Man Receive State Nominations
The Utah High School Musical Theatre Awards has dished out multiple nominations for Uintah High Theatre’s production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame and The Music Man. Hunchback was nominated as a finalist in the following categories: Best Musical, Best Director, Best Choreography, Best Set Design, Best Costume Design, Best Lighting Design, Best Technical Crew, and Connor Talbot as Best Actor, Caleb Hunt as Best Supporting Actor, and Devin Reynolds as Best Cameo.
