on Monday night
. The 2018 Mr. Uintah is Garrett Wilson and the 2018 Miss Uintah is Kayla Loncar. Kayla also won the People’s Choice Award. “We had 22 kids compete in the men’s division,” shares Coach Gregg Stensgard. “It was really close and the judges had a hard time getting it down to 7 finalists…The men really showed well, looked fantastic, were sharp and ready. It was as great a show as any we’ve had in the men’s division.” Stensgard said that they’ve had more competitors in the men’s division in the past but it was quality over quantity this year. Competition was even closer in the women’s division. “I thought it was really close,” says Stensgard. “A lot of it came down to the actual posing and who had more practice for what the judges are looking for. It was really close for the top three.” Second place in the men’s division was Quinten Bingham and Chamberlin Preece took third. In the women’s division, Kyla Johnson took second place and Sadie Gardner finished third.
