It was another fantastic year for Shop With A Cop events held on Saturday. In Vernal, the Wal-Mart parking lot filled up with Officer’s vehicles and kids were able to pick out toys to brighten their Christmas season. “We had a fantastic time hanging out with some great kids and just about every Officer in town,” shared Uintah County Sheriff Vance Norton. He offered his thanks to Vernal City Police, McDonald’s, Wal-Mart, Classic Lifeguard Air Medical Services, Santa and Mrs. Clause, Whit-Jack Photography, and the many agencies that participated. Saturday also marked the day for the Shop With A Cop event in Roosevelt where kids loaded carts at Stewart’s Marketplace. The Roosevelt City Police Department offered their thanks to the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office, BIA Law Enforcement, BIA Fish & Game, DWR, Utah Highway Patrol, and Utah State Parks for their help in making the event a success.
