Dinosaur National Monument has announced that the road from the boundary to Rainbow Park campground is currently open to high clearance 4-wheel-drive vehicles and the road to Island Park is still closed at the Island Park Overlook.

Roosevelt City State Street Drainage Project
Roosevelt City’s State Street doesn’t have long to wait before drainage issues are handled head on. According to Roosevelt City Manager Ryan Snow, a project will get underway next fall to install proper drainage down Roosevelt’s State Street funded almost entirely by UDOT through the Joint Highway Commission.

Vandals Deface Jensen Fire Station

A veteran with no ties to the Basin showed a great deal of patriotism and selfless love last week as he personally delivered a battle cross to the mother of Sgt. Daniel Gurr, Vernal’s local hero who lost his life 5 years ago while serving in the war in Afghanistan.
