Fall Results in Injury on Dinosaur National Monument Fossil Discovery Trail
A woman suffered serious injury from a fall in Dinosaur National Monument on Tuesday afternoon. According to Monument Chief of Visitor Services Dan Johnson, the 65-year-old visitor tripped while walking on the Fossil Discovery Trail that runs between the exhibit hall down to the visitor’s center.
Duchesne County Drug Arrests
Law enforcement has been busy fighting drugs in the Basin and Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday that progress is being made. According to the Sheriff’s Office, a significant amount of drugs have been taken off the streets in the past week following multiple arrests.
Wasatch County Man Faces Child Rape Charge in Uintah County
A Wasatch County man charged with child rape was in 8th District Court on Tuesday. A warrant for the arrest of 21-year-old Cabit Douglas Nye was issued on August 2nd and Nye was arrested in Duchesne County on August 29th.
