It’s a tragic ending after a man was reported missing last week after not returning from a trip to Flaming Gorge. KSL reports that 68-year-old Brad Flinders from Kamas was expected home on Thursday last week but had not been heard from. He had been camping and fishing out of the Lucerne Marina on Flaming Gorge, prompting a search Thursday overnight and into Friday morning. The Daggett County Sheriff’s Office reported to KSL that rescuers eventually located Flinders’ body and his capsized boat on the side of the reservoir near Jug Hollow. The cause of death was drowning and no further investigation is anticipated. All are reminded and urged to wear a life jacket. Evans Family Media shares our condolences to the Flinders family and friends.
