Police are looking for a Craig man wanted for assault. 34-year-old Tanner Eugene Sholes is wanted for felony menacing, vehicular assault, possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment, child abuse, assault, driving under restraint, criminal mischief and reckless driving.

Monument Roads Reopening

Roads within Dinosaur National Monument closed in March due to severe winter storm damage are reopening today. Monument Superintendent Mark Foust made the announcement Thursday that Island Park and Rainbow Park roads are reopening thanks to temporary repairs.

The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man caught on security cameras on Thursday. The pictures were captured by video camera at the Gateway 66 gas station in Duchesne at approximately 12:30pm on April 13th.

Fraud Suspects Booked Into Duchesne County Jail

A Wasatch Front couple is now behind the bars of the Duchesne County Jail on multiple charges of fraud. According to the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office, 39-year-old James M. Duffy was arrested on outstanding warrants during a traffic stop after failing to signal while driving in Duchesne on the morning of April 6th.

A major meth bust in Rock Springs resulted in the arrest of 3 men this week. According to the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office, a months long investigation by the Sheriff’s Narcotics and Arrest Group led to the arrests of 26-year-old Quintyn Gary Hart, 19-year-old Clayton Michael Palmen, and 37-year-old Bernhardt Henry Peterson

Proposed Changes for Buckskin Hills Shooting Range

The Buckskin Hills Shooting Range in Uintah County is known far and wide for its extensive facilities and professionalism. Following some vandalism in 2016, the county is exploring some changes to the facility. According to Uintah County Commissioner Brad Horrocks, sometime in the near future, the county plans to lock down the facility at night.
