| Event Description | NOTE: THE COMPETITION IS 100% REMOTE! In this competition, you will write a 5,000 word short story highlighting a theme that will be announced via email March 2nd. You will have the month of March to write your stories and turn them in before midnight of March 31st. Judging will take place in early April with winners announced soon after. Please review the following: Uintah County Library Patron Content Submission Policy DMCA Copyright and Takedown Policy Submission Guidelines. Be mindful, just as with all Beyond the Margins submissions, there are two submission forms. BOTH SUBMISSION FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED!!! The Media Submission Form gives us permission to use and publish the work. It may be filled out in person at the library, or you may fill it out and submit it with your work using the Competition Submission Form below. The Competition Submission Form is where you will submit your work and tell us details about you as an author. |

Vernal City Council Meeting
The Vernal City Council holds regular meetings on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. The meeting starts. at 6:00pm, and is held at the city hall located at 374 E Main Street in Vernal.
