This August, Roosevelt Arts Alliance is honored to bring Come From Away to our stage, our first community theater production in more than a decade.
As we celebrate America's 250th anniversary and approach the 25th anniversary of 9/11, *Come From Away* feels especially meaningful. Set on September 11, 2001, and the days that followed, this remarkable true story celebrates the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, where thousands of travelers were stranded. This remarkable true story reminds us that even in the most difficult moments, kindness and community can bring hope.
This production is more than a play. It's the beginning of something we've dreamed about for our community.
