Utah recently was awarded $2.9 million dollars in CARES Act Recovery Assistance grants from the Economic Development Administration. These funds are to capitalize and administer Revolving Loan Funds that will provide critical gap financing to small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Sentencing This Week for Duchesne County Woman Guilty of Child Abuse Homicide of 2-year-old Foster Child
Sentencing is scheduled this week for a Duchesne County woman who entered a Guilty Plea to 1st Degree Felony Child Abuse Homicide in the 2018 death of her 2-year-old foster child. Lisa Jo Vanderlinden changed her plea to Guilty ahead of her scheduled jury trial in March.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 continue to tick up in the TriCounty Health District with the greatest increase in Duchesne County. The Sunday COVID-19 Situational Update on www.tricountyhealth.com shows that the total of confirmed cases to date for the entire TriCounty Health District is 133.
