Husband Arrested in Rock Springs Shooting Death of Wife
An arrest has been made in the June shooting death of a Rock Springs woman. 45-year-old Jason Lee Fletcher was arrested on Friday for the shooting death of his wife 46-year-old Lena Lynn Fletcher at their Rock Springs home on June 29th.
Local COVID-19 Update
Sunday’s COVID-19 Situational Update on www.tricountyhealth.com reports that local cases have continued to tick up. There are 148 active cases as of Sunday; 91 of those are in Uintah County, 46 are in Duchesne County, and 11 are within the Ute Indian Tribe.

Winds Fill Uintah Basin Sky With Smoke From Increased East Fork Fire Activity
It was an eerie feeling for many on late Thursday afternoon as smoke filled the sky from the West. Ashley National Forest answered the question of many explaining that this smoke was not from a new wildfire but caused by strong winds which increased fire activity on the East Fork Fire in Duchesne County.

It can be fun when a good idea catches on to become a tradition. In 1996, Split Mountain Garden Center brought together friends and family to have a bonfire and share some apple cider. In that year there was around 250 people who attended.
