A missing child that the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office asked the public to watch for has been found safe. The 10-year-old female had been reported missing Tuesday evening.
Horses Gathered in Uintah County Euthanized Due to EIA; Investigation Continues
Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) has been confirmed in feral horses gathered in Uintah County resulting in several horses being euthanized. According to a report in EquiManagement magazine, the Utah State Veterinarian confirmed that at least 4 cases were discovered while 18 horses had been exposed, prompting na official quarantine and traceback of possible exposure.
