Beginning at noon this Saturday, community members are invited to line the route of the funeral procession for Cpl. Troy Davis following the funeral service at the Uintah Conference Center. The route will begin at the Uintah County Conference Center and proceed West on 100 South to 500 West.

A memorial for Vernal Police Department Cpl. Troy Davis will be displayed from Friday, July 16th at noon until the afternoon of July 17th.

With cases spiking, Ashley Regional Medical Center has averaged about 10 people per day needing hospitalized for oxygen.
Flaming Gorge Upping Releases in Response to Drought and Lake Powell Concerns
The Bureau of Reclamation announced that as of July 14th, the Flaming Gorge Reservoir pool elevation is 6023.31 feet, which amounts to 83 percent of live storage capacity. Unregulated inflows for the month of June reached approximately 149,000 acre-feet (af), which is 38% of the average June unregulated inflow volume.
Flash Flood Warnings for Bear Burn Scar and Throughout the Region
While rain is most welcome it also comes with the need for caution as National Weather Service has issued Flash Flood Warnings in areas throughout the Region. The Bear Fire Burn Scar in Carbon County was issued a serious warning and flash flooding has occurred.
