The process of redistricting starts with the U.S.Census data which is then taken by the Legislative Redistricting Committee who travels the state holding public hearings, gathering public input, and reviewing map suggestions.

Conservation Pools Helping Fish During Drought in Uintah Basin
Conservation pools are one tool the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is using to help fish during the drought, including here in the Uintah Basin. A “conservation pool” refers to water rights the DWR has purchased in order to keep water levels in reservoirs at a level sufficient to preserve the fishery.

Details on High Speed Chase That Ended In Arrest
The Uintah County Sheriff’s Office has provided details on the high speed chase last week that ended in two people arrested: On Thursday, September 30th, an off-duty Uintah County Sheriff’s Deputy saw two wanted subjects, identified as 25 year-old Tyson Brown and 29 year-old Rachelle Murray at a residence in Jensen.
