A wolf kill of livestock in north western Colorado has been confirmed. According to the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association, the confirmed kill of a 500 pound purebred heifer was discovered near the town of Walden. This was the first confirmed wolf kill of livestock in over 70 years in the state of Colorado. Colorado Parks and Wildlife confirmed the existence of wolves in northern Colorado in early 2021.
