The students at Eagle View Elementary have been spotted setting a great example in the community and beyond.

A Moffat County student has been announced as the 2022 Youth of the Year in Northwest Colorado for the Boys and Girls Club. Reina Steele is a 17 year old senior from Moffat County High School. Steele was one of six students in the running for the award and the $7,500 scholarship.

About half of all Americans have at least 1 of 3 key risk factors for heart disease: high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and smoking.

Another day, another scam and this time it's the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office issuing the warning.

A local grocery store wants all its customers to have the opportunity to shop their store online and so an important payment option has been added. According to Davis Food and Drug Director of Operations Alex Walker, Davis is now the first independent retailer in Utah to offer SNAP payments on their online shopping platform.

Uintah County is moving forward with their ‘Energy Strong’ project. Uintah County Economic Development Director Lesha Coltharp made a presentation during a recent Uintah County Commission meeting of plans to produce short 30-second videos that will highlight the energy industry’s production process.

The substitute shortage in schools has been a hot topic across the country including locally. The topic was discussed during the Uintah School Board work session on Wednesday and the efforts to address the shortage in Uintah School District have remedied the problem.
