UBTech announced this week that they have partnered with Finley Resources and Uinta Wax on the creation of an innovative CDL program that will provide existing CDL drivers with specialized training in transporting black and yellow wax from the Uintah Basin.

Court Rules Banished Members Of Ute Tribe Must Exhaust Tribal Court First
The United States Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a ruling this month concerning the latest appeal by banished members of the Ute Indian Tribe. According to a press release from the Ute Tribe, four banished members turned to the Appeals Court after the District Court held in 2019 that it lacked jurisdiction to hear the case.
Uintah County Issues Notice Of Legislative Hearing
Uintah County has issued a notice that a Legislative Hearing will be held on March 31st at 9am. It will be conducted by the Uintah County Commissioners in the Commission Chambers.
Uintah Conference Center Experiences Biggest Year Yet
The Uintah Conference Center continues to grow with 2021 reportedly being its biggest year yet. Uintah County Commissioner Brad Horrocks attributes the growth to Conference Center general manager Tracy Smuin and staff who “have worked hard to market the center to state and regional organizations for training and corporate conferences.
