Uintah Conference Center Experiences Biggest Year Yet

The Uintah Conference Center continues to grow with 2021 reportedly being its biggest year yet. Uintah County Commissioner Brad Horrocks attributes the growth to Conference Center general manager Tracy Smuin and staff who “have worked hard to market the center to state and regional organizations for training and corporate conferences.

USU Uintah Basin Professor Dennis Garner Announces Retirement

Professor Dennis Garner will be retiring after being a lecturer at USU Uintah Basin since 1998. Garner’s long list of awards speak for themselves. In 2004, Garner was awarded the USU Uintah Basin Teacher of the Year award and was also awarded the Taggart-Ballard Award of Excellence.
