US Forest Service Issues Avalanche Warning

The Utah Avalanche Center has increased the current avalanche danger ratings from moderate to considerable throughout Utah. Specifically in the Uintas, that moderate danger is found above the tree line on the slopes facing the north half of the compass. It is where both new and older wind drifts rest on top of weak snow.

The Uintah County Heritage Museum is excited to announce that they have a new art show opening. Entitled “Brush and Lens” the show consists of 20 pieces. There will be 10 large 20 x 30 photographed landscapes by Stephen Sandau and ten artistic paintings by Deena Millecam.

Moffat County Kids Shine At Colorado State Robotic Tournament

Don’t underestimate the kids in Moffat County. Just this last week Colorado held their State Robotic Tournament in Denver and the 5 elementary teams from Moffat County were in it to win. At the tournament each team faced 24 teams throughout Colorado in the exact same challenge.

Recognizing The Good In Our Community
