Utahns Invited to Take Internet Speed Test

The Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity is asking Utahns to take part in a second internet speed test. The Utah Internet Speed Test Campaign is a statewide initiative for Utahns to self-report their internet speed at home, work, or wherever they’re connected to the internet.

Deer have been spotted all throughout the city of Vernal. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources would like to remind everyone that it is highly discouraged to feed the wild. When wildlife are fed they will frequently return to the area. This leads to wildlife being in conflict with humans and such things increase accident traffic.

Spring Burning At The Pariette Wetlands In Uintah County

The Bureau of Land Management has announced that they will be doing prescribed burning in Uintah County this month. The Vernal Field Office plans to implement the Pariette Prescribed Fire at the western portion of the Pariette Wetlands, southwest of Ouray and Pelican Lake through the end of the month.
