Coordinators for a foreign exchange student program are looking for locals interested in learning about their program to possibly host students. Tyler and Monica Hill are the current local coordinators of the program and enjoy hosting students as a family.

February is American Heart Month, a time when the nation spotlights the number 1 killer of Americans, heart disease. President Lyndon B. Johnson issued the first proclamation in 1964 and since then, U.S. presidents have annually declared February American Heart Month. Local Doctor Karl Breitenbach is passionate about spotlighting heart health as he was diagnosed with a dangerous heart defect as an adult.
Fatal Semi Truck Crash On SR-191 North Of Vernal
The switchbacks on SR-191 north of Vernal are a known safety concern, especially for large vehicles, and a crash that took place there on Monday morning had a fatal result. According to Utah Highway Patrol, a semi-truck hauling oilfield pipe was traveling South on SR-191 near MM 367 in the switchbacks north of Vernal on February 7th at 5:04am.
Burn Victims In House Fire Recovering; GoFund Me Set Up
