Uintah High Athletics were proud to announce that the U’ettes are rising to the challenge of 5A competition: Uintah High U’ettes finished 4th overall this past weekend at the highly competitive Rocky Mountain Drill Invitational at Alta High School. The U’ettes dominated in the individual portion of the competition.
DWR Update: Possible “Wolf-Hybrid” Actually Pet German Shepherd Hit By Car
The Division of Wildlife Resources has an update on an animal originally believed to be a wolf by the man who found the animal but that wildlife officers believed was more likely a dog or wolf-hybrid. The DWR reported the following on Friday: The animal is actually a pet German shepherd dog that was hit and killed by a vehicle.
Students Supporting Massive Shoe Drive As Part Of Kindness Challenge
If you have shoes collecting dust that you can part with, Uintah Middle School would welcome a donation to their shoe drive as part of the national ‘15 Days of Kindness’ challenge. Students were motivated by Brian Williams, the founder of the ‘Think Kindness’ non-profit, who put on a high-energy assembly that encouraged the students to do acts of kindness every day.

Roosevelt City Winterfest 2022
The main events of this year’s Roosevelt City Winterfest are taking place this week and there’s no better way to beat the January blues than to get involved. Winterfest has transformed over the years but it started thanks to avid skier and local dentist Dr. Doug Ogden who wanted to see a winter activity in Roosevelt that got more people outside.
