A fatal crash occurred on Tuesday on November 16th at approximately 11:16 am on Highway 40 near Vernal. According to Utah Highway Patrol, a gray Jeep Cherokee SUV was traveling west on Highway 40 at milepost 139.

Prosecutors Drop Sexual Abuse Charge Against Bishop Due To Additional Evidence
Prosecutors have dropped the sexual abuse charge against a former bishop after prosecutors considered additional evidence. On September 16th, 63-year-old James Douglas Robinson was charged with 2nd Degree Felony Forcible Sexual Abuse after a 15-year-old female claimed that he had touched her inappropriately in the summer during a church camp in Duchesne County.

RSV is on the rise locally and the public is being urged to take prevention seriously for the sake of infants and the elderly. According to TriCounty Health Department, there have been approximately 36 local RSV hospitalizations between October 1st and November 15th.

Ashley Regional Celebrates Staff Milestones
Healthcare workers certainly deserve recognition and appreciation and Ashley Regional Medical Center aimed to give them just that last week as they celebrated staff milestone anniversaries. Twenty individuals were recognized, including Veronica Martin with the longest milestone at 40 years of service followed by Jennifer Lance and Chad Labrum with 30 years of service.
New Roosevelt Library Taking Shape
It’s onward and literally upward on the new Roosevelt City Library construction. Library staff shared on Monday that the prefabricated steel of the building is now in place. This area will house the library’s main room which will include the circulation desk, shelving, teen space, and a reading area.
