Congressman Blake Moore’s staff is hosting mobile office hours across Utah’s 1st District and today they are in northeastern Utah. They started the tour on Tuesday working their way through Rich, Cache, and Box Elder Counties.

DWR Stocks Green River With Largest Trout to be Stocked There to Date
Anglers take note: The Division of Wildlife Resources just stocked the Green River with the largest rainbow trout to be stocked there to date. “The fish average 12 inches long, but some are 15 inches, which is usually the size they achieve a year or two after stocking!” shares the Division of Wildlife Resources.
Local ‘Feeding Children Service Project’ Prepares Nearly 30,000 Meals
An amazing group of volunteers made a huge difference during a service project on Saturday in Roosevelt that will go a long way in filling hungry bellies. The folks at Just Serve teamed up with Strata Networks for the Feeding Children project which utilized 200 volunteers in assembling meal packets of jambalaya containing lentils, rice, dried veggies and himalayan salt.
Bureau of Reclamation Director on Need for Flaming Gorge Releases
Lake Powell is drying up and Flaming Gorge is one of a few reservoirs releasing water to help the situation but what’s the reasoning behind it all? Wayne Pullan, the Bureau of Reclamation’s regional director, has explained that increasing Lake Powell’s water levels is crucial so the Glen Canyon Dam is able to continue generating power and that the decision to pull from upstream reservoirs is part of an agreement already in place.

An organization committed to serving the community provided a Fiscal Year report earlier this month and it’s amazing all that’s been achieved. Friends Against Family Violence accomplished 411 crisis calls, 47 individuals sheltered, 831 case management services provided, and 9 clients rehoused.
