Uintah School District announced Monday that Superintendent Rick Woodford has decided that Tuesday, December 22nd, will be an online learning day for students and staff at Uintah High School. “The superintendent made his decision after consulting with the Uintah School Board, the TriCounty Health Department and Uintah High Principal Sharon Shipton.

2020 was a good year for the work of the Dino Trails Committee and committee member Aaron Averett made that the focus of a recent presentation before members of the Vernal Chamber of Commerce. “Progress had been very good and particularly this year under the direction of Trails Coordinator Mike Cook,” explains Averett.

This last Saturday saw Moffat County take part of a nationwide tradition called Wreaths Across America. The event was founded by Morrill Worcester, the owner of Worcester Wreath Company in 1992. In 1992 he had a surplus of wreaths and made arrangements to place them in Arlington in one of the older sections of the cemetery.

If a household decides to proceed with a gathering realize that the more people from different households a person interacts with at a gathering, the closer the physical interaction is, and the longer the interaction lasts, the higher the risk that a person who has COVID-19 may spread it to others, whether he or she has symptoms or not.
