An investigation is underway after a man was found deceased in a camper near Flaming Gorge Reservoir. According to the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office, detectives are investigating this as an unattended death. The man was found alone in his camper near the Anvil Draw area of Flaming Gorge Reservoir.

Uintah County Attorney Lamb Appointed to Fill Judge Seat in 8th District Court

Uintah County Attorney Greg Lamb has been appointed to fill Judge Edwin T. Peterson’s seat in Eighth District Court. Duchesne County Seeking Members For County Trails Committee

As of October 19, 2020, the Duchesne County Commissioners have adopted a Trails Master Plan. This plan contains over 150 potential trail projects throughout the county. On November 2nd, the County Commissioners passed a resolution establishing a County Trails Committee.
