DWR Let's Public Know When to Report Wildlife

The Division of Wildlife Resources is offering clarification to the public of when to report wildlife encounters because not every encounter or sighting needs to be called in. It is common in winter time to have an increase in sightings, especially with increased building in the foothill areas and canyons and the increase in the number of doorbell cameras.

Memorial Regional Health in Moffat County Nearing COVID Unit Capacity

Individuals might have differing opinions about COVID-19 but the healthcare facilities are the ones on the frontlines, even in the small towns. There has been a surge of positive cases of COVID-19 in Moffat County. The Craig Press reports that Memorial Regional Health’s COVID-19 unit recently increased capacity from six beds to eight but had admitted six patients.

Uintah School District announced Wednesday that the Backpack Buddies Food Drive collected 34,218 individual food items for their cause. The Backpack Buddies Food Drive was organized by the Uintah High chapter of National Honor Society.
