DWR Tips to Be Safe Around Rattlesnakes
It might not be a pleasant thought but it is the time of year in Utah in which rattlesnakes are on the move trying to find water and rodents. In the summer the snakes are most active at dawn and dusk. There are five species of rattlesnakes in Utah, with the most common being the Great Basin rattlesnake.
Kunz Sisters Make Donation to Support Uintah Basin Nursing Students
The Kunz sisters have made an additional donation to Utah State University in support of nursing students at USU Uintah Basin. This time Ann and Inella Kunz gave $26,000 dollars to the Utah State University Foundation and the Ann and Inella Kunz Scholarship Endowment.
Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office Seeking Help in Livestock Deaths
Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office has asked for help from the public. According to a recent press release, on Monday, June 1st, sheriff’s deputies responded to two cattle deaths near a Bureau of Land Management road off of Wamsutter-Crooks Gap Road.
