White River Bridge Reopening Delayed Due to Construction Error
While it was originally hoped to be complete by the end of May, the White River Bridge reopening in Uintah County has been delayed and is now estimated to reopen on June 29th. According to Uintah County Road Department Manager Bryan Meier, the delay is the result of a construction error.
Uintah County Commission Seeking Public Input on Proposed Bike Lane
The Uintah County Commission is asking the public for input on a proposed bike lane on 500 North in Vernal. According to their Tuesday press release, the proposed bike lane could reduce or possibly eliminate on-street parking along 500 North from 3500 West to the curve at 500 West near the Basin Clinic.
