Boone Draw Fire Continues Burning West of Craig

Firefighters continue to work on the Boone Draw Fire 50 miles West of Craig. According to the Northwest Colorado Fire Management Unit, the Boone Draw Fire is over 6,000 acres and is burning on BLM and private land in pinyon-juniper, grass, and some sage in the southwestern portion of the fire. At last report, the fire was at 5 percent contained.

New Child Abuse Charges for Man Convicted of Child Abuse in Duchesne County

According to a Good 4 Utah report, Kade Abegglen was arrested last week when his almost 1-year-old son was brought to Primary Children’s Hospital with optical issues as a result of severe head injuries.

Vernal PD Issues Release on Early Morning Stabbing at Vernal City Residence

Vernal City Police have confirmed that a stabbing took place at a Vernal City residence near Ashley Regional Medical Center in the early morning hours of September 13th. According to a press release from Vernal PD, officers found that three people had been assaulted and received injuries and at least one person had been stabbed by an unknown assailant.
