February is American Heart Month and tomorrow, February 2nd, TriCounty Health is inviting the community to participate in National Wear Red Day. This is the 15th year that National Wear Red Day is being celebrated and when it was first observed it was to bring attention to the fact that heart disease was the #1 killer of women.

Launch Approaching for Bethany Wiggins’ 5th Book, The Dragon’s Curse
One Vernal woman has defeat the odds in the publishing world with the release of her 5th novel coming up on February 6th, a feat that even most published authors never reach. The Dragon’s Curse is the second book in Bethany Wiggins’ Transference trilogy with publisher powerhouse Random House Books. Book one in the series, The Dragon’s Price, was released in February 2017 and the release of book three is expected in February 2019.
Negotiations Between Daggett County and Dutch John Making Headway
While there are still important details to be worked out, Daggett County and Dutch John have been able to make headway with their negotiations regarding the incorporation of Dutch John. On January 19th, a public meeting was held at the County Courthouse in Manila in which the Dutch John Town Council and Daggett County Commission met and took action on certain aspects of the transfer agreement.
