Access to Ashley National Forest will improve with a new project on the Sheep Creek Geological Loop. The road, also known as Forest Service Road 218, will be reconstructed for 1.1 miles near Navajo Cliffs Picnic Area and Carmel Campground.

The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man caught on security cameras on Thursday. The pictures were captured by video camera at the Gateway 66 gas station in Duchesne at approximately 12:30pm on April 13th.

Monument Roads Reopening

Roads within Dinosaur National Monument closed in March due to severe winter storm damage are reopening today. Monument Superintendent Mark Foust made the announcement Thursday that Island Park and Rainbow Park roads are reopening thanks to temporary repairs.
