The draft for the Duchesne County Resource Management Plan is available to view. The plan is a major part of the county’s general plan update, shares Duchesne County Community Development Director Mike Hyde, and must be completed to comply with Utah law.

Women’s Day Out Draws Crowd

Tragedy struck over the weekend on Flaming Gorge when an all-terrain vehicle fell through the ice. According to the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office, a family of four was traveling on the ice near Anvil Draw south of Green River on Saturday afternoon when the ice broke.
