Mother Nature Keeping Emergency Services Busy

When asked what is keeping the Uintah County Sheriff’s Office busy this week, Sgt. Brian Fletcher has a quick response: the weather. While there hasn’t been a huge jump in crashes, the weather has resulted in an abundance of slide offs and plenty of vehicles stuck in the snow, all of which law enforcement try to respond to and assist on.

The local events for Law Enforcement Appreciation Day were a success on Monday. Officers were fed breakfast, balloons were launched, a banquet brought together hundreds of officers and family, and blue ribbons waved outside to remind everyone of the sacrifice made by our amazing officers that keep us safe.
