Santa is preparing his sleigh for a big trip to attend one of his favorite holiday traditions: the annual Breakfast With Santa event held again this year at the Uintah Middle School in Vernal. The event kicked off 15 years ago as a thank you to the community from Vernal City and the Uintah Recreation District.

The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding a business burglary at 1250 South 3000 West in Roosevelt. According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call of a forced entry burglary at Leon Ross Drilling around 8:30am on November 22nd.

Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a Rock Springs teen. According to the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office, 16-year-old Taylar Rae Haddock was last seen at her home on Antelope Drive north of Rock Springs around 6:00pm on Saturday, December 3rd.

On a quiet morning 75 years ago the world was changed forever. Veterans, military officials and thousands upon thousands of others are in Honolulu today remembering the attack on Pearl Harbor that catapulted the United States into World War II.
