Local generosity has found a new cause with the upcoming Koncert For Kenya. The event will combine resources to provide help for women in Kenya who have escaped early marriage by providing items for self reliance and sustainability in Kenya.

Thousands of colorful building blocks covered the carpet of the conference room in the Uintah County Library on late Thursday afternoon. Along with a slew of school year activities, a new year of the LEGO club is now officially underway and there was plenty of little builders in attendance on day one.

A local example of Christian fellowship is bringing people together thanks to a cooperation effort extending from Roosevelt to Dinosaur, Colorado. Pastor Chuck Martin is leading a small but growing new congregation in western Colorado and says they’ve done so with the support of the Roosevelt Baptist Church.
