Event Description	Don’t miss out on a SPOOKTACULAR time during Rangely Area Chamber of Commerce’s weeklong event of Oktoberfest with our 2nd annual “Spooky” Pints in the Park in Rangely Colorado on October 12th. Homegrown brews with Smoking River Brewing, traditional Margarita’s with El Agave’s Food Truck, a fun Costume Run in the morning by CNCC’s Dental Hygiene program followed up by a costume contest with the winner getting a free pitcher of Beer during the event (prizes for kids costumes too), a Creepy Doll Contest and many activities for the whole family! The White River Knife Show will be held in conjunction with this event with appearances by winners and contestants from the History Channel’s Forged in Fire show and axe throwing demonstrations! The event is happening on the west side of Elks Park in the softball fields of the Kevin Poole Memorial Complex so the area is fenced off and you’ll be able to drink within the fenced in area. Come enjoy the day, bring your camp chairs, let the kids run wild and browse the many vendors while enjoying some delicious drinks! Food vendors will be on site as well to help absorb some of those drinks! JR’s Carriage Services will be on site again this year giving free Spooky Hay Rides and new this year Bentley the Longhorn Steer will be in attendance wearing a white sheet for a picture opportunity with our very own Boo Moo or Bull-Sheet! The Vernal City Council holds regular meetings on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. The meeting starts. at 6:00pm, and is held at the city hall located at 374 E Main Street in Vernal.
